Ma'na Program 

With the collaboration of Wells Fargo and the North American Association for Environmental Education, the Lab is designing the first environmental training program in Mexico design to meet the needs of coffee farmers who are facing relevant challenges due to climate change.

 

The program focuses on mitigation and adaptation strategies through a participatory approach towards skills development. 

 

The program will promote a framework for sustainable agri-food practices that guarantee food security and stable livelihoods of rural farmers, without transgressing environmental considerations. The Program will integrate environmental concerns into learning systems that ultimately translate into practical tools, conformed by; 

Examining Crops

Environmental Training: awareness of natural resources and environmental conservation

Circular Stone Floor

Community Based Resilience and Adaptation: introduction of circular economy models.

Forest

Mitigation: sustainable agriculture practices and forest conservation agriculture.
